Mike's Bio

In the early 1980's Mike Failla, dove into music ministry as a volunteer musician in his local Church. He first began serving in the Music Department, offering himself as a guitarist and background vocalist. However, it soon became apparent that Mike had found his niche, and it wasn't long before he was also helping to organize music ministry outreach teams. Mike was instrumental in sending worship teams and musicians to churches that were looking to grow in their worship experience.

In 1986, God opened additional doors for outreach and ministry. Mike became one of the founding members of Kingdom Bound Ministries, and the Kingdom Bound music festival, an annual event that draws nearly 60,000 people to Darien Lake Theme Park Darien NY. Mike was assigned to help develop the worship ministry at the festival.

For the past 21 years, Mike has led worship at the festival and directed praise and worship in the 3500-seat worship tent.

Mike has served on the Kingdom Bound Board of Directors over the last decade, where he has helped to establish the festival as one of the largest events of its kind in North America. Since 1995.

Currently Mike travels extensively ministering in local churches serving the churches by leading worship services, ministering to musicians, teaching, giving seminars and leading worship with the church musicans working along side of them in order to help them accomplish the worship goals they have set for themselves.

Mike continues to be a featured worship leader at festivals, camps, and conferences throughout the Northeast, Southern Ontario, Canada and has recently accepted invitations to minister and teach on the West Coast.

Mike's passion is seeing the church worship together in Spirit & In Truth. The desire of Mikes heart is to see people of all ages experience the presence of the Lord in worship, and to see people using the gifts God has given them to accomplish that goal. All for His glory!

Mike a native of Western N.Y. State , is a frequent rider of his Harley Davidson Motor Cycle! He and his wife, Doris, have been happily married for nearly 30 years. Their daughter, Dana, married Mr. Gary Green during the summer of 2003. And today, by God's blessing and grace, Mike and Doris are the proud grandparents of Ava Mae Rose Green, and they are soon to be grandparents of girl #2 (name to be announced) at the end of July 2007!
